Your Rights and Contact Details

All data subjects have certain rights under Data Protection Law, including a right to be given access to data held about them by a data controller. Other rights will be dependent on the nature of the information given and are more fully explained in the privacy notices below.

Confidentiality

All individual work with children, young people and families will remain confidential with only the relevant parties having access to information.

Orchard Fields Community School staff may share information with other professional agencies on a ‘need to know’ basis, in relation to keeping a child, young person or family safe.

Orchard Fields Community School staff may share information between themselves for work related practice only.

We have a responsibility to protect children and young people, and will share our concerns with other agencies if we suspect that a child is being harmed or neglected.

We will endeavour to discuss our concerns with parents/carers prior to referral, unless the child would be more at risk in doing so, in which case our duty is to report the incident/s directly to Social Services or the Police.
