Welcome to Year 4

In Year 4, you will find Mr McLeod, Mrs Elliott, Miss Maycock and Mrs Cross.

We have an exciting year planned which starts with our weekly swimming sessions. These are on Thursday afternoons; don't forget your kit (including your swimming costume, towel and swimming hat) as well as your £1 donation towards the coach.

Mr McLeod’s class has swimming on Thursday afternoon.

For cold weather please ensure your child has appropriate PE clothing, such as tracksuit bottoms and a suitable jumper.

Literacy and Maths homework will be given to the children on Mondays and it is expected to be handed on Fridays. Spelling and times tables tests will take place on a Friday. There may also be creative homework tasks set throughout the year which we hope the whole family will get involved in.

Children are expected to read at least five times each week, with an adult commenting once a week, and hand in their Reading Challenge books every day.
