Welcome to Year 3

 

 

In Year 3, you will find Mr Brown, Mrs Morgan, Mrs Naish Miss Simms and Mrs Ellis.

Mr Brown’s class have outdoor PE on Fridays and indoor PE on Wednesdays.

Mrs Naish’s and Mrs Morgan’s class have outdoor PE on Wednseday and indoor PE on Friday.

For cold weather, please ensure your child has appropriate PE clothing, such as tracksuit bottoms and a suitable jumper.

Both classes have outdoor learning on Tuesdays.

Literacy and Maths homework will be given to the children on Mondays and it is expected to be handed on Fridays. Spelling and times tables tests will take place on a Friday. There may also be creative homework tasks set throughout the year which we hope the whole family will get involved in.

Children are expected to read at least five times each week, with an adult commenting at least once a week, and hand in their Reading Challenge books every day.
