EYFS Teaching Assistant

Orchard Fields Community School Governors are looking to

appoint an experienced Early Years/Year 1 (Level 3 or equivalent

qualifications) teaching assistant for May/June 2024

(Two vacancies available)

Contract type: Term Time Only

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Grade 4 – Grade 5 with pay ranging from £23,114 - £23,500 Pro Rata depending on experience.  Actual Salary for 30 hours worked over 38 weeks is £15,504 - £15,763.

Hours: 8.45am – 1.00pm (Includes 15 minutes morning break and half an hour lunch break) – 1.00pm – 3.30pm

Orchard Fields Community School is a large two-form entry school (2 – 11 Years) on the Bretch Hill estate. As a school, we strive to recognise and develop children’s personal strengths and talents. Our pupils are well-behaved, enthusiastic learners and our teaching team is welcoming, hardworking and supportive.

We are looking for an outstanding practitioner to work in either our EYFS or Year 1 classrooms; some experience in an Early Years setting would be advantageous.  We require someone who has a good understanding of the EYFS Framework and is able to deliver a stimulating, challenging and fun personalised curriculum. This is a good opportunity for a talented, Early Years Practitioner to join our highly skilled, dedicated team.

Lunchtime Supervisor

appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor to start as soon as possible

Interview Date: TBC

Start Date: March 2024

Location: Banbury

Contract type: 5 hours per week, 12 noon-1pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £11.59 per hour

We require a reliable assistant to supervise our children during their lunchtime.  Your role will be to ensure the well-being and safety of the children whilst eating their lunch and during indoor and outdoor playtimes. The successful applicant will ideally have experience of working within a school setting.
